I really wanted a programmable crock pot, but I also wanted a brand that was well made, that looked nice and cooked food to appropriate temperatures. This does just that--so far I have made lemon chicken, balsamic chicken and a ravioli casserole and all have come out perfectly. It automatically switches to the "keep warm" mode after cooking for however long you set it and even if the crock pot has been on the warm setting for 3 hours, the food is still hot and delicious. The pull out handles are great and they feel sturdy unlike my old slow cooker. The retractable cord is great, although I thought it would retract a bit easier than it does. It is extremely easy to use and clean. This model is very heavy when carrying it with food, so keep that in mind if you want something that you can trasport easily.
